AGM CERTIFICATION (AGMC) is committed to manage Impartiality Risks to ensure that the certification we deliver complies with all relevant parties' standard requirements. AGMC proactively manages impartiality by:

Impartiality Management Measures

  • Conducting familiar threat reviews at the beginning stage of certification process.
  • Employees of AGMC are prohibited from participating in the audit of any organization to which they have given assistance, by consultancy, internal audit or training (other than professionally registered auditor training), or where they have any financial or commercial interest for a minimum period of 2 years prior to the date of application of the organization for registration.
  • AGMC shall provide third party training where the training is related to generic information on auditing or management systems.
  • Employees of AGMC, no matter contracted or permanent, shall not disclose the or discuss any detail; before or after the audit; to any member of employee other than the direct management of AGMC or other members of the team, as required by the Secrecy Non-Disclosure Agreement signed on commencement of employment.
  • AGMC & its' direct employees are prohibited from engaging in consultancy activities, which involve the active design, generation or implementation of a management system.
  • All employees of AGMC, no matter contracted or permanent, are required to declare any financial or business activities that may lead to potential conflict of interest on commencement and during the period of employment.
  • AGMC employees or contracted personnel shall not suggest or imply that certification would be made simper, easier or less expensive if consultancy or training services were used. In addition contract personnel / employees cannot offer consultancy or training services to AGMC clients that they have been assigned to audit during or after the assigned task has been completed for the period of 2 years or so.
  • All certificate decisions are made by competent personnel independent from the on-site audit process and have the unimpeachable authority to reject a certificate recommendation should they see fit.
  • The certification of companies who supply services to AGMC is not deemed as a threat to high risked threat to impartiality.
